Thank you for all the prayers that my brother RIAN recovered from his sickness of pneumonia, For more than 2 months in ICU he was able to fight for his sickness. Now, I am asking again for your prayers, they have a family problem right now. May God Almighty enlighten them through the help of Mama Mary to settle everything and be home in the Philippines. Please pray for me, I have so many illness which worries me a lot .I have been a cancer patient but I was healed but I got a lot of side effects from the chemotherapy. Furthermore, the stress of working in the hospital with colleagues of different culture has affected me a lot.. I am on indefinite sick leave, I receive partial salary which I use to pay for my medical needs and to help relatives in the Philippines who are very poor. Sister,please ask intercession from Mother Ignacia and the Blessed Mother to pray for me so that I can get cured to be able continue helping financially the poor families in the Phil. I sent my nephews/nieces to school till college. Two have finished and got jobs abroad but I am still helping 7 children who are in high school and elementary. LAND PROBLEM. After 10 years of saving, we were able to buy a property from a big bank. It turned out that the lot is in question. I have fully paid it . The adjacent owner of the house will enclose our entrance gate. I am so far away I cannot do anything. I sent a complaint to PNB but up to now after 6 years, it is not yet resolved I don’t have much money to file a case against a big bank. Please pray that it be resolved soon. These problems keep me in stress as well . I am requesting for prayer also to help my nephew who has a big psychological problem. The wife went abroad but left him and their daughter of 2 years old. He is so lonely and depressed. I just pray he will not take his own life. he is just hanging on to life because he has to care for his daughter who is now 10-years old . The daughter has seizure due to psychological trauma. She has never known the love of her mother. Her mom does not even text her from Indonesia. Her mom came home after 8 years because her father died. The 10 -year old daughter was so distraught because her mom never embraced her when she arrived. That is why her epilepsy is not cured, she is in continuous medication for 5 years now. I just keep on texting the little girl so she is motivated to study. She is an honor student but she is unhappy. Please pray for Krstle Angela,Linda,Alan,Bien,Maria for physical and spiritual healing. Thank you very much Sister Raquel . Dear Sister Raquel,

Please pray for my financial and physical needs as well as physical healing. The Lord knows that someone conned me leaving me debts and finding it hard to meet my monthly bills. I have to pay for my minimum credit payments. My credit cards are to the limit and finding it difficult to meet my basic needs. I am still financially supporting the family of my sister in the Philippines and want to financially support my other sister who has colon operation. Although I send them small amounts, still I find it difficult to do it at this time. I have infected tooth which should be pulled out but can’t do it because of the cost of the dentist consultation. My pay is not enough to meet all of my obligations. I also ask for prayers for the physical healing of my Ate Acion who had colon operation, my brothers Cayo and Domeng who are diabetic and for every members of my family’s physical and spiritual welfare. I also ask for prayers for the spiritual conversion of my sister Fely and her family. May they come back to God and accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour. Thank you for posting my request. Happily, your prayers and everyone else’s are working. Robert’s tumor was mis-diagnosed and it has shrunk on only steroid treatment. We will go the end of this week for one more (hopefully) MRI and with your prayers, the lesion will be all gone. The doctors are baffled but faith has been restored to so many in our community. Hi all prayer warriors

My husband Bayani will be operated through laparoscopy to dissolve the prostate cells that have surrounded his urethra which are blocking the urine from passing through. They will insert a mirror and laser and scrape the prostate cells under anesthesia, of course. BUT he will need another operation because his left kidney is filled with one huge calcified stone that has sharp edges and also causing much pain. The stone has occupied the entire kidney so the doctor says this is one for the books!!! The second operation should be soon after tomorrow’s operation because his kidney’s health is at stake and too much blockage has gone on already and the health of the kidney is deteriorating very fast. He will be ok to go home on Wednesday next week, that’s June 2. The second operation will be soon. probably second week of June Thanks for all your prayers Love you all,

Dear Sisters,

I just stumbled upon this healing blog of yours and i felt much inspired to ask for prayers. I’ve been seeing a nephrologist lately after my urynalisis revealed blood and huge amount of protein in it. He said it indicates something about my kidneys, it seems that my lab results and symptoms show signs of a disease called IgA Nephropathy and when i researched about it it is a chronic kidney disease that may eventually lead to kideny failure. The doctor wanted me to have CT scan and a biopsy to confirm this. This made me worried a lot this past few days, the thought of me having to go through dialysis and the expense of the treatment leaves me restless. I’m only 24 and i really wanted to help my family who is also financially challenged. Please pray for me sisters, that i may receive God’s grace of healing so that i may be able to love and serve Him more in my life. Please also pray for the continuous healing for my mom (she is a cervical cancer survivor), for her complete emotional and physical healing…she’s being worried a lot about my condition too. Please pray for Emily C, who will be having brain surgery today (April 21) in Boston at 12:30 EST. She has battled a brain tumor since she was 5 yrs old and is truly a miracle. Now they have found another one. The surgery I’m told is the part of the brain that controls her identity, emotions, memory and personality. She is now in her early 20’s and is very afraid, her mother died just recently and unexpectantly. Please include me in your prayers for the following requests; I lost my property last 2009 in Bae,Laguna as I was not able to complete the payment and the developer will not give me another property for the amount I have paid already. May the lord intercede and give them light and guidance to be fair in their business practises. And hopefully, will give me a property equivalent to the amount I have paid instead of losing it. I lapsed several of my life insurance and pension policies as I lost my job last Dec 2008 (I was a seaman) and unable to re instate them yet due to I have no regular income to pay them. I am asking that you please pray for my 10 year old niece Kathleen. She was diagnosed 9 weeks ago with an inoperable, malignant brain tumor. The doctors told us she had 8 to 12 weeks to live. We are praying ceaselessly for Jesus to hear our little angel. Please pray for Kathleen. We need a miracle. Kathleen’s parents took her to Lourdes, France on March 25th. Upon arrival, Kathleen immediately fell asleep in the hotel room. About one hour later, she sat up in bed and told her mother that she had a dream Jesus came to her and told her she was healed. She said he was standing next to her bed and touched her head….and then he “disappeared” according to Kathleen. I believed this was a visit and not a dream, but I don’t know what to think because she is still showing signs of illness. She has lost hearing in her right ear due to brain swelling, her left eye sees double and the entire left side of her body constantly tingles and is very weak…making it difficult for her to walk. She does not know she has cancer and doesnt understand what is happening to her. The steroids she is on has made her face swell and hair grow on her face…she is going so much emotional trauma on top of the physical trauma. My mom, Mariles is still in ICU right now, she texted me just today that her CBC results are getting better. But still, even though her platelet count increased a bit, it is still very low compared to the normal value. She also needs a platelet donor but good thing my cousin passed the screening so she needs 1 donor. She is well taken care of there in ICU since there are nurses and doctors monitoring her every now and then. My mom has SLE. It’s a rare disease and has no cure. She had her lupus panel last Feb or March and the doctor said she has mild lupus. Mom didn’t tell us about this. The past few days before her admission, she has been experiencing fatigue, body malaise and fever that’s why we brought her to the hospital. She doesn’t want to eat na and she said she’s having headache. After 2 days in the private room, she was transferred to the telemetry or the intermediate ICU because she has shortness of breath and she needs oxygen. Later on the doctor advised the use of the non-invasive ventilator which is much better than the normal oxygen mask. Until now, she needs the NIV to help her in her breathing. She told us it’s much better there in ICU because for the first time she slept well. Visitors are limited so that she can fully rest and sleep. I hope she’ll get better as soon as possible. Right now, my family is in a state of major depression, we don’t know when my mom would get well. We ask for your prayers that OUR FATHER ALMIGHTY would heal her,to make her strong to fight all the burden she is experiencing right now and for my family to be strong. “Lord Jesus Christ, You chose to share our human nature, to redeem all people, and to heal the sick. With this in mind I beg You to look with compassion on Your humble servant Mariles, support her with Your power, comfort her with Your protection, and give her the strength needed to fight against evil. Please pray for candy versoza, biopsy scheduled at medical city for big mass found in his liver to confirm if it is cancer. He is requesting for prayers that it is not malignant.

Please pray over my mama who is currently suffering from minor cerebral edema as she just had a respiratory arrest last February 18. May our Lord God touch mama’s brain so that she can regain her full consciousness and touch her lungs so that she can be free of phlegm secretions and with that the trachea tube that she got as she just had her tracheostomy last March 23 be finally removed from her trachea and may she be able to fully breathe on her own. Lord God please help mama to fully recover and to be strong to battle all the trials that our family is going through right now. Mama is our only parent and with God’s grace, my sister and I are hoping for God to give us a second chance to live a normal and fruitful life with mama. I know in time our Lord God will summon mama but at the moment my sister and I are praying that God heed our plea to have years more to live with mama. I know that this is a request from an unworthy persons like us but I believe in God’s mercy and second chances. At the moment we are also running out of funds to finance mama’s hospitalization, medical needs and laboratory exams. We are at our relatives’ mercy and assistance. I am just starting with my new job and am not yet a regular hence I dont have a health card yet for mama. I already asked help from PCSO but still waiting for guarantee letter. God is good that my sister is an employee of Mother Seton Hospital hence we are given discount for my mama’s hospital expenses. We are praying for miracles that God will heal mama and mama will finally regain consciousness with God’s mercy. In Jesus’s name and Mama Mary’s intercession, may our Lord God hear our plea. I love mama so much and she’s the only we have. Please help us in asking for God’s mercy. Sabi ko nga: di ko naman po pinagdadamot Lord si mama, in time po ibibigay po namen siya Saiyo. i thank God for people like you who devote their time to help others, that’s why i volunteer to be a prayer warrior. i will do my very best to pray for others. i personally have a prayer request for my firstborn son named Ziv, … he is diagnosed with hydrocele and is in need of an operation … i ask for help and prayers… he is only two years old and i hope he does not need to undergo operation as i believe miracles can happen through all your prayers, he will get well and be normal and be healthy. i firmly believe in the power of prayer .. especially when others also join in with one intention to pray with God. thank you and God Speed.

I would like to extend my sincere and deepest gratitude for the prayers extended to my brother RIAN. He stayed in ICU for more than a month and he is now discharge in the Rehab. May our Mother Mary and all the prayer warriors continue praying to gain weight so he can stand and walk by himself. Sana po patuloy mong siyang gabayan at palakasin upang makauwi siya dito sa Pilipinas.. Dear Sister Raquel, Sisters and Brothers in Mother Ignacia Healing MInistry, I hope this email finds you well. I would like to request your healing & prayer ministry to pls. pray for my father, Serafin M. Last April 12, he underwent a trans-phenoidal surgery to remove a benign tumor in his pituitary gland which is causing him a lot of headaches, discomfort and may make him blind. The tumor was succesfully removed but there were complications. When he sneezed after the surgery, some of the abdominal fat they put in place of the tumor got dislodged and so, some air when into his brain that made him confused and so he wanted to pull out all his tubes so they had to keep him restrained and sedated all the time. Because the fat was dislodged, some brain fluid leaked also. The doctor is hoping that it would seal itself but if the fluid leak doesn’t stop, he would undergo a minor surgery to ’seal’ it. Right now, they kept him sedated to calm him down and allow the ‘wound to heal’. That’s why when we visit him, he’s always sleeping. Please pray for a safe operation and quick recovery for this has been a very difficult time for all of us. Pls. help us in asking Our Lord Jesus to cast his healing hand upon him. We love our father and we can’t wait to see him up and about again to share this life with. Thank you very much.

Hi. Sir Bernie, I am a former subscriber. But I lost track since you transferred everything to the blog. I am a kidney transplant patient (5 years last april 7). I initially asked for prayers when I had an acute rejection. With God’s grace I recovered from it. Right now I am facing another challenge. Doctor said it’s chronic rejection which means that I’ll be needing another transplant sometime soon. I have a nephrostomy tube at my right side now which i believe altered the natural routine of my kidney. I can no longer pee the normal way which is not the case 2 weeks ago. Now he’s planning to place a stent inside the ureter next week. Sir, ive thought of my condition since my last consultation with my doctor. Do you think it will be a sin on my part if i refuse to undergo another operation? It will cause us so much this time. Most of our finances was used to support my medication. My mom has diabetes and have two siblings ages 7 and 9. I believe it’s already selfishness on my part. Ive already caused my family so much. Financially and emotionally. I just want them to be happy and be secured in the future. Sir, if it isn’t too much to ask, please include me in your prayers. For now, I know only God can heal me.

Hello everyone,

I’m begging prayers for our baby Matthew who was born with congenital heart defects and is back in the hospital. This Thursday he underwent open heart surgery to add a shunt to his heart. This stent has began to occlude and he was getting little oxygen. His oxygen was less that that required for a human to survive but still our baby fought on. Sometimes, in his sleep I see him smiling and laughing and I think to myself that perhaps Angel Raphael is playing with him and that brings me some comfort. During his surgery his doctors found out that his little heart had a lot of strange connections and looks quite different from what a normal heart looks like. His pulmonary artery is much smaller than the normal size. They are unsure of the approach they will take for Matthew and this brought us a lot of grief and fear. But before they could proceed with an angiogram, Matthew’s oxygen levels dropped once again while he was in the ICU and later on they found out that 1/3 of his right lung has collapsed. The collapsed lung contributed to his low oxygen count since he cannot expel the carbon dioxide in his body. His body was also getting highly acidic and his blood pressure was rising.

Right now the doctors are trying to inflate his collapsed lung and he’s

on a ventilator to aid his breathing. And we are waiting to see if the

shunt is working well. Eventually they will do an angiogram to see how

they will treat his condition but it depends on so many factors that

have yet to materialize as he grows.

Please…please…pray for Matthew. I can see him fighting so hard.

Even if he has been doused with drugs in order to keep him asleep, he

tries so hard to open his eyes. So far he has defied what normal

science would say about living and I think his inner strength comes from the Lord Himself. I am currently at his bedside in the ICU as I write this email. My husband and I just finished praying the rosary and prayed to Angel Raphael. I hope that you can all join us in prayer for Matthew’s recovery and for the eventual success of all his operations needed to keep him alive. Thank you so much for your help and support. She has loved every child personally like Mother Theresa. She has recently been stricken with pancreatic cancer and is inoperable, but receiving chemo.There is a glich with her health insurance, now, please pray that Margaret White’s health insurance gets straightened out so she can continue her chemo treatments. Sr Racquel, My Co-Prayer Warriors, I pray that Lord Jesus Christ heal all my illness 1. hormonal imbalance - i tried different hormonal pills, i was operated (2007 & 2008) for disfunctional uterine bleeding; 2. cyst from left & right ovaries; cyst from left & right breast; 3. Autoimmune disease (Multiple sclerosis) many parts of my body numb, muscle pain, electric-like pain, burning sensation. This is incurable & degenerative disease (slowly worsening condition). 4. hypertension 5. hemorrhoid 6. HSV. It reduce my working ability, loss drive to dream and plan for my future and my family, develop depression, anxiety, loss concentration & poor memory. Presently I’m taking different medicines prescribed by my doctors (neurologist, ob-gyne, opthalmologist), i’ve tried alternative medicine (body massage, body energy electromagnetic synchronizer) herbal medicine, attend healing mass & sunday masses.I tried everything to restore my good health & memory so i can go back to normal life to continuously help my family, the needy, to use my remaining life doing and following GOD’s mission to me with so much faith to HIM and fear of doing evil. My name is Bev , I am writing in For members in my family ,For my Brother Terry,who has Diabeties & high blood pressure & high trigliserides & sight trouble , also for my Brother Kerry he had a rare form of Mucus Cancer he had to go through. He Was Diagnosed With Adenocarcinoma - Mucinous Type Cancer in November 2008 In the spring of 2008 Kerry suffered extreme heartburn and chest pains, symptoms common to gallstones. He began to monitor his diet and make changes that would calm these symptoms. In the next couple of months the heartburn became less severe but Kerry began to notice a knot protruding from his umbilical area. June 2008 he saw a gastrologist. Kerry was expecting to hear he was suffering from an umbilical hernia that may need surgery. He also requested the doctor order an ultrasound of the gallbladder. The ultrasound revealed many tumors within Kerry’s abdomen, originally thought to be on the appendix and on the kidney, then the colon, and with additional testing an exploratory surgery was scheduled. During Kerry’s one week hospital stay where some tumor was removed and he was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma – mucinous type cancer, we learned that Kerry’s cancer was very uncommon. During a second operation six months later Kerry’s gallbladder, spleen, 1/3 of his stomach, appendix, omentum, and 2- 12” sections of his large colon were removed. Kerry’s recovery has been slow and painful. He still has weight to gain and new eating habits to establish. I came across this site while searching for jobs and articles about credit card debts . I know it is a sign that God is showing me the way. I am currently unemployed due to office politics at a local government Unit I was working before. I can no longer tolerate the people I work with; always prioritizing their personal, financial and political gains instead of serving the people (which is what they should prioritize). I filed my resignation but it was not formally process. Processing it will unearth some corruption that happened. I already filed a complaint to CSC about this last year and still no resolution. Since I didn’t get any separation pay or any monetary means from my work, I don’t have enough money to pay my credit cards. Collecting agencies are already sending me formal demand letters. I haven’t found work yet. Especially because I do not have the documents from my previous work stating that I was discharge honorably. Please pray for me that my financial and personal woes will be resolved soon. I also pray for all the government employees that they may put into action their sworn pledge to the people. Greetings. I pray that you can reach many more people thru your prayers. My name is Gel, and i would like to request your prayer assistance for my Mom, Connie to save her eyesight. She has a deteriorating eye sight which our doctor cannot cure. We have constantly prayed for a cure or to prevent further deterioration of her eyesight (both eyes), but her eyesight still deteriorates. You see my Mom is a victim of a medical malpractice or overdose of Cobalt 16 years ago, which made her bones brittle, and burned her buttocks and intestines. As a result, she suffered a broken left hip, and still deteriorating spine and other hip, and she wears a Colostomy bag. She can still walk a little even with a shortened left leg which dangles or is not connected to her hip, with the help of her walker. We try to always make our lives normal, age gracefully and live with our infirmities, but we really need her eyesight for her to at least function a little normally. With a losing eyesight, she could not herself place her colostomy bag, or even walk to her urinal just beside her bed to comfort herself. Some people are really gifted more than others. I was in the hospital for a check-up last Sat. when i saw this woman who was sitting in a wheel chair. Looking at her, i can see she is a stroke patient. We both hv the same attending neurologist. I took pity w/ this woman and i can feel her agony sitting there and cannot talk (probably due to stroke her speech was also affected). She can’t move herself and if she wanted to move will just cry. My wife Mrs. Hasina (age 41) from Dhaka, Bangladesh, has long been suffering from an acute syndrome of “auto Immune disease” (wegners Granulomatosis), a very rare suffering which may not be cancer, but its malignancy is no less devastating.

My three sons, Aaron, Leslie, Jr. and Eric have used alcohol too long. They always seem to be mad and angry then his mom and dad try to talk to them. Aaron is taking welding school in Phoenix; Lesllie is a U>S> Marine Corps veteran and he is taking classes over the internet in Phoenix and Eric is taking nursing classes in New Mexico. We’ve prayed so many times for them. We God to release them. We ask God to send someone to help them escape alcohol use. Because I am frustrated as a father, I even turned them over to God to do to them as He pleases. I want my sons to accept and follow Jesus. These are the Last Days and I don’t want them to be left behind. Thank you. We are members of the Navajo Nation in Arizona. - We have prayed for family members who are suffering from different disases Effie Beth - Chron’s Disease; Joan S, Cancer; and Ruby A, Liver Enlargement. As American Indian Christians, we are competing with the Navajo Traditional Beliefs and the Native American Church who see the peyote plant as their Mother. We want them healed so other tribal members will see this miracle and come to accept Jesus as the Lord and Savior.

Dear Sis. Racquel,

I am Ciony, begging for prayers for my husband Nestor. Last December 2, 2009, his right eye had massive bleeding and this bleeding increased signifificantly up to the time that we rushed him to the hospital on Dec. 25, 2009. The doctor didn’t gave any medicine yet because per ultrasound, they cannot locate where the bleeding comes. It was a rare case! But when there was intense pain on the 25th of December, we rushed him to the hospital and on the 26th, he was operated. He lost his sight but even if I know that it would be very impossible now to regain that sight, I’m still praying for miracle to happen. He doesn’t know yet up to now that his sight condition is like this. Sister, my husband is a lay minister here in our parish at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral and being such, he continues to pray to the Lord that miracle will happen. I joined him in this request, I beg for prayers from many religious people. even hopelessly, the Lord will help us. Worse Sister, ever since I married my husband, every now and then, he has anxiety especially when he is being pressured in his work in the office, and this, I am afraid - if real scenario will be told to him. I am begging for prayers, please include him in the prayer requests of the RVMs. I beg please! Another pain that torments now is my son is also sick, he was diagnosed to have hypothyroid and anemic. This added to my cross and but always, I really offered all these sufferings to the Lord, but sometimes, I feel weak already, I am praying that God will give me more strength and courage to carry all these trials, and if possible, if possible ony - to lessen the load. Sister, again, I’m begging please pray for them - my husband Nestor and my son - Gerard, and for me to give me more strength. Thanks a lot and God Bless.

Pray that he be reconciled with God and live a Christian life. 2. Another young man was in a car accident, suffers from addictions (alcohol) has broken bones, will be in surgery tomorrow. Dear Friend in Christ,

Thank you for entrusting your prayer intentions to us. Please know that we are remembering you and your special intentions for the complete physical and spiritual health and well being for you and your prayer intentions at our times of adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist, during daily Masses and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. We have entered the period of Lent, a time of penance and interior renewal to enable us to prepare for Easter. We would be remiss if we did not say a few words to tickle the conscience and bring us closer to God. God wants us to detach ourselves from the things of the earth and return to Him. He wants us to abandon sin and to return to the font of life and joy * Jesus Christ. To turn our hearts toward God, to be converted, means that we must be prepared to use all the means to live out His holy will daily. We must love God with our whole heart and soul and flee from any deliberate sin in our lives. Each of us must do this whatever his personal circumstances may be as regards work, health, family, age and so on. Jesus is looking for a contrite heart within us, a heart that acknowledges its weaknesses and sins and is prepared to disencumber itself from them. God wants from us a genuine sorrow for our sins, which we will manifest, above all by receiving the sacrament of reconciliation, and by doing small deeds of mortification and penance in reparation for our sins and the sins of the world. We end with a quote from St. Therese, Story of a Soul, regarding that difficult word * mortification. “My mortifications consisted of breaking my will, which was always ready to impose itself, to hold back a reply, to do little services without noting them, of not resting my back when I sat down, and so on. It is through the practice of little nothings that I prepared myself to be the bride of Jesus.” May we be united together in prayer during this holy season of Lent as we follow in the footsteps of Jesus on the “via dolorosa”.
