We finally received the healing oil. My faith was really tested because after receiving it, my two sons got sick and had a fever. I was kinda’ paranoid because there’s an outbreak of dengue in our place. Since I’m in Manila finishing my studies and can’t attend to them, I told my husband to rub the oil on their forehead as he prays over them. Thanks be to God! the doctor’s findings indicated viral infection due to UTI as the cause and not dengue. Praise to you God our healer, Jesus our Saviour, Mama Mary and St. Joseph, our protectors, and our angels St. Miguel and Raphael.

There is one more request for a special prayer for my nephew and his daughter, who were abandoned by his wife when the latter went abroad. My nephew cared for their daughter for 10 years but was never psychologically well. The daughter got epilepsy when she was 6 years old. She never knew her mother!My nephew got a good job now abroad . But the separation from his daughter brought a lot of loneliness! If he remains in the Phil. he cannot send her to a good school (with the meager salary & unfair labor practices). This loneliness and despair almost made him take his life. I thank God he did not!. There is no solution to his legal problem. His ex-wife has a new family in abroad although they were officially married in the Phil. I don’t know how that is possible! I have prayed a lot so that the law in the country will change, so that he can also re-marry and live a normal life. But things remained the same after 10 years, Now he found someone who is willing to share his life. What can the church do to bless their union? Nothing! It’s very frustrating ! It is like the victim have to suffer for the mistake of another! My nephew consulted a lawyer and paid a lot but no result! Pls. pray also that our case will end up positive for us. We were tricked by a bigbank when we bought a lot. It turned out there is no right of way! It’s a big lot ! I wonder if there can be justice in the Phil ! It is only the moneyed who wins in court. Even the Register of Deeds did not answer our registered query! How frustrating to return to the country after 20 years nothing has changed! We need alot of prayers to end up corruption. THANK YOU!

I would like to seek your help in praying for the recovery of my nephew, Gil Luigi, who has been diagnosed with acute leukemia (AML). He has undergone his first (oral) chemotherapy session. Though baby is doing well after treatment for jaundice, the new mother, Stephanie, had an early and difficult delivery. She has developed endometritis She is quite swollen, her legs were like tree trunks ’til just the otherday, she was struck with severe pain in abdomen area and couldn’t stand; we took her to hospital by ambulance. They kept her in hospital for 2 nights and administered 3 different antibiotics. They sent her home today with lots of drugs for the pain.

I have committed sin against God and my family and now I’msuffering from financial losses.I’m heavily indebted Sister Rachel and have been praying so hard that I may recover from this. Please remember Isaac who is eight years old. I met his mother recently who told me that he had cancer at the age of six, they thought it had been treated successfully but it has returned again. They are hoping an operation in Germany may save him. I have never met Isaac and came across his mother, ‘Frankie,’ whilst advertising my art work. She is not a Catholic, but I told her to look up Padre Pio and to pray to him. I also mentioned that I would contact some convents and ask them to pray for her son as I have a great belief in prayers. She emailed me back recently and thanked me for a painting I had completed called “May Peace Be With You” which resides in Isaac’s room. She did not mention Padre Pio, but said that “I believe more than ever that Isaacs inner light is the answer to his illness and I have committed myself to supporting his mind, body and spirit as we journey through this to happier times.” She is an amazingly positive mother and I told her that prayers are being offered for his recovery. Her name is Frankie W and her email is (undisclosed). She said it would be O.K. for me to give her email to convents. There are a million ways to pray to the Lord, if you are just a bit more radical or innovative. You will note that He grants favors so easily because He loves us so much.

1 – TALKING TO JESUS

A powerful form of prayer is to depart from formulated prayer and simply talk to Jesus, converse with Him, tell Him your problems. Be casual. Joke with Him even. Talk to Him as a Friend, a Brother. Your prayer would perhaps go something like this –

“Lord Jesus, please be kind enough to stay here right beside me so I can pray to You. Yes, right there behind my shoulder would be fine. You see, Lord, I have a small favor to ask. Well, not really that small for me, but for You really small. You know I have cancer of the lungs stage 4. The doctor gave me two lousy months. Imagine, that short? But You are the Doctor of doctors, and what my doctor cannot do, I know and believe in my heart You can do if only I ask you. Well, I am asking you now. I am pleading for Your mercy. Please heal me, Lord. If You decide not to heal me, then that is okay because I surrender myself to Your will. Do what you want with me. Still, I pray hard to You right now. If You decide to heal me, I promise You I will change. I will give more time to doing things for You, even though I am so busy at the office. Please, Lord, hear my plea.”

2 – PRAYING FOR OTHERS

This is the simplest but most innovative form of prayer and very effective. As you walk down the street, pray for people you see around you. You see a jeepney driver. Pray for him to earn well. You see a well-dressed executive. Pray for him to be kind to his employees. You see a beggar. Ask the Lord to give him food for today. You see a student, a child playing, a lady walking her dog. Nod to Jesus to be with them. Pray for the crowd all around you. By praying for others, you pray for yourself ten fold. If you do this, you will feel a great sense of well being.

My family and I would like to thank you all for your prayers. More than a month ago, we requested prayer for my Aunt Naida who has cancer that now reached her brain. The doctors said she may have 1-2 weeks then if no treatment is done. She did not undergo further treatment anymore but attended the healing mass/prayers in Mother Ignacia Healing Center and also in Amuyong, Cavite with Fr. Suarez. By God’s grace- it’s been two months now and my aunt is feeling okay and she actually has less pain. Thank you very much for all your prayers once again. God Bless us all. sincerely,

A week ago, I heard from a cancer patient from Belgium who received the healing oil , that she is very thankful to God she got relief from the sleeplessness she experiences from the radiation therapy she has been undergoing. She simply applied the oil and say “Jesus, Mary and Joseph”. And has no problem sleeping anymore. This week she is off to Turkey to get a much needed rest from her work and the therapy she has been undergoing the past months. Today I learned that Marina, also a Belgian having a serious cancer is in coma. Let us pray for her and her family so that her 5 children will also come and visit her in the hospital. Her children blamed her for the divorce. Thank you all so much. To everyone who is in great pain/health problems, pls. find relief in the knowledge that Jesus will never abandon us. But it is not easy if one is in such a situation.

I was so happy noting that God has really responded our prayer since the latest medical check-up of my son, the doctor was amwzws and happy that my son’s hbaic1 is very normal since he was diagnosed as juvenile diabetics since then until now he is using insulin for his diabetes, the doctor adivse us to have another laboratory to cebu or manila for further examination if it found to be normal of jis pancreas the doctor will advise to stop using insulin but rather a medicine to take, help us more to pray for that further laboratory soon to be conducted.

i come to you again in behalf of my tatay who is suffering from a series of complications in his lungs. it started with either a mild heart attack or pulmonary embolism. he was saved through intubation. but he now has erds and is suffering from frontal temporal lobe psychoses, a common occurence in icu patients. the past 2 nights was horrible seeing him lose his mind. he’s very paranoid abt the nurses saying they;re doing drugs, and are out to get him that’s why he wanted to get out of the bed last night. e hindi pwede kasi nahsjrink na nag kanang binti niya dahil sa vein occlusions. tinali tuloy siya. he’s seeing both familiar and unfamiliar people, dead and alive and managed to punch me, a doctor and some nurses in the hand even while tied up. it’s as if he’s being pulled into hell.

i watched helplessly but came to my senses when the Spirit led me pray for him aloud and as if i was leading him in prayer like a child. hindi ko mapigilan humagulgol sa awa sa aking ama kaya kinantahan ko na lang siya ng mga paborito niyang melodies. sa awa ng Diyos doon lang siya kumalma. i was ready to turn tatay over to God because he has suffered much already thats why i chose not to have him resuscitated. but my 2 brothers overruled my decision and chose to have him intubated again. now he is heavily sedated bec of the psychosis.

the doctor said he still has a good chance of getting well despite the odds. he also said that he will only stop when tatay has run out of chances or choices. but for what? tatay will never be the same again anymore. ang hiling ko na lang sa Diyos ay kaawaan siya at maganap ang Kanyang kalooban. ayoko man mawala ang natitira kong magulang at gusto ko man siya gumaling ay panahon na to let go, let God. dasal ko din ay sana may makitang kapaki-pakinabang ang ating Poong Maykapal sa pagdurusa ng ama ko. inalay ko na lang sa ating Ama ang paghihirap ni tatay bilang katuwang ng paghihirap ni Hesus sa krus. maraming salamat po at umaasa sa inyong mga dasal.

I am scheduled to start my chemotherapy on Sept. 4. I fear for the side-effects of the drugs that will be injected into my body. Please help me pray that my system will accept the initial medication (all 4 cycles), and withooout difficulty, then followed by another 4 cycles of taxotere (which, incidentally, i think is very costly, too). please help us find means, so that i will be able to complete the regimen as prescribed by the doctors. If i am not able to visit Sr. Rachel before sept. 4, what prayers should I make to prepare myself for the consecutive treatments? I am keeping my faith strong as each day passes by praying the rosary and praying novena to other saints. Please help me. Please pray for my complete healing in this battle. God bless us all.

I am praying since Sunday 6th June 2010 for my love Jacqueline. Jacqueline is just a 41 years old woman and she had a brain stroke last Sunday 6th June 2010. Jacqueline is still in the hospital today, she is struggling and fighting and she needs help. She is breathing on her own since the first week after the surgery, it’s a long haul, but she never gave up and she is a studdborn lady. Since 4 weeks, she is moving her legs and arms back when sollicitated, and she opened her eyes more and more. Since the 6th June, we began all, friends and family to think all the positive, praying and sending her all the positive energy we can, but we need more help. All these helps are coming from United Kingdom where she lives, from France, Spain, Italia, Scotland, Wales… and from the Lord and angels around, but we need more. Jacqueline is my soulmate, we feel each other as we were only one and all the time. When one is away the other is not complete. When we are together we are shining all around. Jacqueline is a beautiful lovely person, she is caring about all others before herself and all the time. Jacqueline is a woman that believes in God and that believes in life.
